At aware psychotherapy I offer modern Gestalt Psychotherapy as a trainee. Gestalt work invites you into a empathetic, body-aware exploration of your inner world, relational patterns, and present-moment experience.
Together, we work towards greater wholeness and the freedom to respond to life from a place of authenticity, rather than from conditioning.
My approach is supported by my extensive experience in embodied movement practices, somatic trauma work (such as SE®), non-dual awareness traditions and embodied intimacy studies. These threads come together in a therapeutic space that honours both psychological and embodied-spiritual integration.
At certain moments in life, we are called to pause—to tend to what hurts, to listen to what feels out of place, or to reconnect with parts of ourselves we may have lost touch with. Psychotherapy offers a space for this kind of turning inward, grounded in the present moment and supported by the relationship we build together.
Gestalt Psychotherapy begins with a simple, profound invitation: to meet what is here, in you, right now. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, emotional pain, or a sense of disconnection, this work offers a space to slow down, come into contact with yourself, and listen deeply. Here, healing doesn’t mean changing who you are, but becoming more fully and consciously yourself.
Gestalt therapy works phenomenologically — not to interpret or analyse, but to stay close to your direct experience. From there, we explore relational dynamics, conditioning, patterns of contact and withdrawal, unfinished situations, and the polarities that shape your inner world.
This therapeutic process may include:
Tracking sensations, emotions, and movements as carriers of meaning
Working with polarities and internal conflict through embodied dialogue
Exploring interruptions to contact and relational field dynamics
Integrating spiritual or expanded states into grounded awareness
Slowing down to notice and stay with what’s most alive
My work is particularly supportive for:
People in spiritual or other forms of self-inquiry, integrating new ground with embodied presence
Highly sensitive or neurodiverse individuals
People recovering from developmental, shock or relational trauma
Facilitators and body practitioners seeking to deepen their own integration and relational awareness
Women or people identifying as female in life transitions, identity shifts, or re-negotiating relational boundaries
Sessions are trauma-informed, non-pathologising, and honour your pace. While my practice resonates especially with women’s experience, I welcome clients of all genders drawn to an embodied, relational, and presence-based path of healing.
